Anderson Hospital

This postcard dates back to 1917, or so the post mark tells us. Our copy of Ester's Town does tell us that this was one of the very early hospitals in Estherville and was later sold to Doctor Coleman. As you can see this house stands alone on this block. One of our postcards for the Coleman Hospital is marked with the phrase, "The New Coleman Hospital," giving us the feeling that when Doctor Coleman bought this facility his other building had not been built.
