This depot building is the one we are familiar with when we were children and young adults in Estherville. Sandy and I do remember taking a ride on the train as children, this was a school activity. Neither of us remember the depot clearly but are sure this is where we boarded the train for Wallingford, IA. We do know that this depot building fell into disrepair in later years was torn down in the 1970's or 80's. We have two cards with this depot, not the steam engine in the first view.
