The cabinet painting continues in the new shop but the real story is the final clean-up of the old shop area. We have held off removing the concrete until we could find someone to remove it and haul it away. Others have suggested that we bury the concrete but this could lead to more problems in the future if the frost pushed it back to the surface. The graded area in the picture above shows the shop floor torn up with most of it hauled away. What doesn't show in this picture is the old electrical service buried towards the ditch side of the torn up area. I have left the line in place with the idea of using it in the future to proved temporary power on the north side of the drive way. The picture below shows the line dug out and routed out of the ground by the fence post to protect it as the grading continues.
