Tonight's work began with some material handling. I sorted and loaded the return material for return to the lumber yard in the morning and then moved the remaining material to the machine shed to keep it from weathering in the sun and rain. We are forecast to have thunderstorms tonight so I took some time to add additional bracing to the framing in the event that the wind comes up. The next project was to begin the 1/2 Pressure Treated plywood that will surround the entire building. The purpose of this is to tie the pressure treated foundation to the joist so that it becomes one piece. I am using construction adhesive and stainless steel nails to bond the whole thing together. I will be back filling against this plywood to get the water away from the building, but will wait until I get some stain on it.
