This pile of cut-up MDF is pretty much the only thing I did tonight. I did get the baseboard top cat fabricated and installed, but this pile was the primary project. This will be the wainscoting for the shop office. Each piece is a foot wide and will be seperated by a 1" gap. The picture below shows the layout of a few pieces laid on the table saw.

The picture below shows how the strips between each peice works. This is installed by spreading multi-purpose adhesive on the wall with a notched trowel and then pressing each piece in place The strips are sized to fit snugly between each piece and hold the pieces the same distance apart. Once in place the top will be trimmed off and then the painting can begin.
