Tonight's project was to get the dust collection pipe for the table saw installed. As you can see it begins inside the concrete forms and extends to the west where it ends up next to the spot I have planned for the table saw. The dust control unit will set in the garage space and will be connected to this pipe as well as others that will be run overhead. I did need to break out a 3 foot square piece of concrete so the pipe would not be in the way of the floor joist. The small picture below shows the static duscharge system. It involves bare copper wire in the straight sections of the pipe. This copper is attached to the pipe with carriage bolts and will tied together on the outside of the pipe later. This copper wire will then be connected to a ground rod in the sump hole.
