The weather turned around today and Sandy went to work on the shop project while I was at work. The temperature reached nearly 60 degrees so she moved a substantial amount of the steel siding onto the hay rack that the neighbor brought over. Then she called me to tell me that the guy who wanted the scrap metal showed up so I ran home to direct traffic. My back is recovering from the injury on the weekend but I wanted to be careful not to mess it up. We did work together to start moving the clean lumber to its storage location on the north side of the new shop.

We moved about half of the clean lumber to the new pile and then decided not to push any further. So I worked on getting the steel tied down on the hay rack while Sandy cleaned up the cement where the corn stalk trash had blown into the sheltered spots. We are forecast for another nice day tomorrow so I plan to try to finish cleaning up the cement area so that we are ready for the stormy weather forecast for early next week.
