Labor Day weekend is upon us, the weather is strating to change with cool nights yet warm days. I guess it feels like county fair weather. It is a perfect time of year to continue work on the concrete project. This morning I got an early start as we planned a short road trip for the afternoon. I had this section poured by 9:00 AM and while I waited for it to set I continued working on the rocky mess in front of shop. I used the tiller to break the rock loose and then raked the rock onto the area where I will pour concrete next spring. This grade in this area is low so no sense in wasting good solid fill.

We took the afternoon off to see an antique engine and tractor show, but returned in time for me to get the final patio section ready to pour. When poured I will have completed 24 foot of concrete along the shop wall, I still have two more strips this size to pour, if I have enough material to complete it this fall.
