Our trip to Groton, Massachusetts

• Day 1 - Mason City, IA to Elkhart, IN
• Day 2 - Elkhart, IN to Henrietta, NY
• Day 3&4 - Henrietta, NY to Groton, MA
• Day 6 - Wyomissing, PA to Youngstown, OH
• Day 7 - Youngstown, OH to Portage, IN
• Day 8 - Portage, IN to Red Wing, MN
• Day 9 - Red Wing, MN to Coon Rapids, MN

Day 5

Our fifth day was another travel day with one stop along the way. We left Groton about 7:00 AM and arrived in Plainville, CT to visit my cousin Sandy and her husband George. This was our first visit to their home and had a very nice time for relaxed conversation over breakfast that George prepared for us. Our time was too short here as we had an additional 5-hour drive so we will make another trip in the future to visit again and enjoy some of the Connecticut area. Our only picture today was shot out the window as we headed across this huge bridge over the Hudson River. The traffic was pretty heavy and of course there was no way to stop on the bridge.
