I started today's work by removing the temporary cover on the concrete that the rain messed up. It is not the surface texture I want, but at least it was not ruined. I formed another 4' wide section of concrete and instead of pouring it in two piecs poured the entire piece at once. I must tell you that mixing and pouring a half yard of concrete with the small mixer was quite tiring. But I got it troweld and edged in fine shape. It was nearly 90 degrees today but the brisk breeze out of the west kept me from over heating.
