This is the first of the building projects that did not require weeks, if not months of ground work before construction started. Perhaps level ground is one thing, or that when digging was required I did not hit rock or concrete. The third and most important thing is that this is a portable building like the garden shed without footings, which on other projects caused long delays in getting "out of the ground." Regardless of the reasons, tonight I started framing the floor that will be supported by the three runs of concrete. I tacked three 2 X 4's to the concrete to keep the from slipping and then started framing on top of them. It takes a bit of doing to keep things straight and square but once the floor joist and wood floor are installed building will move on quickly.
