I began tonight by reassembling the light fixture I painted last night. This fixture is the same style that we have on the house and has three diecast metal parts along with a screw on fruit jar style glass shade. I then hung the fixture and moved on to installing the photo eye that will control all the outdoor lighting on the shop. I installed a wall box high on the east gable end and ran wire back to the center of the shop where the lighting panel will be located. I have designed a lighting terminal panel that will allow me to control all the outdoor lighting using the photo eye as well as switches to isolate fixtures that may not be needed every night. I lashed all this together on a temporary basis since I have not installed the service yet.
