I got a late start tonight, but since there was no messing around with fascia or metal edge I was able to put on 7 bundles of shingles. The weather was warm but a stiff breeze out of the SE so I was comfortable as I worked my way up the roof. By the time I finished the overcast skies made this picture look as if it was dark but it really wasn't all that late. I have now reached the halfway point with the shingles so am very pleased with the progress. Now if I could just hold the rain off that is forecast for Thursday I'd be finished before anything got wet. This picture was taken from the east gable looking west.
