Today I got an early start and poured another 4 foot square section of the patio. I thought this would be my last section poured with the sand and rock mix that I purchased last year when I started mixing concrete. The pile looked pretty small, but as it turned out I should be able to make at least one more section using this mix. I have about 7 foot left to pour to complete this row and may need to buy some bagged concrete mix to finish up since I don't want to purchase another truckload to set all winter. While this section was setting up I moved 5 trailer loads of black dirt to the new flower garden. It was a nice night for this as there was a stiff breeze that helped keep me cool.
