Maple Tree Removal

The second tree posed less trouble than the willow. It was smaller and much easier to reach from the boom truck.

Terry and Curt applied the pressure to the maple trunk and got it started off dead center.

Larry was the stump chopper operator. Here is is working on the old stump left from our earlier removal of the ice damamged willow.

Here Larry is starting on the willow that was just removed. He had to start about 4 feet from the tree to remove the very large roots that grew on top of the ground.

The entire project took a little over 4 hours and the guys packed up and took the large pieces of willow with them. We are left with some clean-up and a very large open view to the west that was created by the removal of the trees.
